Hojicha

An Australian grown Japanese green tea with a warm, nutty aroma and mellow, toasty caramel flavours.  In the Hojicha tradition, this tea consists of stems that are steamed first then roasted later to add earthy, baked notes as well as an amber hue.

Unique in flavour, Hojicha is also uniquely low in caffeine!  It can be enjoyed hot, iced or anywhere in between and can be accompanied with a meal. Enjoy!

Description

Preparation:  1 – 2  tsp per cup, 2-3 mins at 75˚C

Serve:  Hot or Chilled.  No milk.  Second infusion
