Green Tea

Buddha’s Tears

This is a specialty tea from Fujian Province where the fine art of scenting jasmine tea is practised.  Buddha’s Tears consists of spring harvest green tea budsets (leaf & bud) infused with summer jasmine blossom, no less than five times.  Once scenting is complete, the tender leaves are then hand-rolled into small pearls.  When added to a cup of water the leaves unfurl releasing their soft delicate flavours.  This delightful tea can be re-steeped for multiple infusions.
